Outdoor induction cooking
An outdoor kitchen with induction can offer many advantages. No flame, no smoke, no odor. Induction cooking is designed for those who want to cook precisely and without fire. Heating up instantly, precisely adjustable, and completely gas-free: an outdoor kitchen with induction offers the same comfort as cooking indoors, but in your garden.
In a Roostr outdoor kitchen, the induction hob is seamlessly integrated into the Dekton worktop; it is not a separate attachment, but an integral part of the design. Thanks to our modular system, you choose the layout, storage space, and color yourself, ensuring everything fits your garden and your cooking style perfectly. Fully designed and produced CO₂-neutrally in our own factory in the Netherlands, using materials that will last for years.
Looking for an easy, modern way to cook outdoors without compromising on design or experience? With an induction hob in an outdoor kitchen, you combine precision, safety, and a sleek finish all in one.

Induction brings precision from the inside out. And outside tastes better.
Why choose induction?

Gas-free cooking
Electric cooking, or induction cooking, works without gas or an open flame. This means you have no gas cylinder, no open flame, and no combustion gases. Ideal for under canopies or in smaller outdoor spaces where gas or charcoal are inconvenient.

Precision in temperature
Determine exactly what temperature you want and keep it there. No fluctuations, no surprises. Ideal for controlled cooking: from slow cooking to quick frying.

Fast and efficient
Induction heats up extremely quickly (often reaching temperature within 30 seconds) and consumes less energy than electric hobs because only the pan is heated, not the surrounding cooking surface.

Clean and quiet
No smoke, no odors, no grease splatters on a high grill. The smooth cooking plates wipe clean. Quiet enough to cook next to a table conversation.

Safe for children and guests
The induction cooktop itself barely gets warm; only the pan placed on it heats up. Once you remove the pan, the surface is safe to touch again within seconds. An important difference compared to gas or ceramic, especially on busy evenings with children or guests around.

Frequently asked Questions
Can an induction hob be used in an outdoor kitchen?
Induction is the future of cooking. This modern and sustainable cooking method has been gaining popularity in the kitchen world for years. Induction is not only environmentally friendly, but also practical and safe. This is especially true for the use of induction in an outdoor kitchen. With the induction and teppanyaki hobs from Indu+ this becomes possible. This unique Belgian brand offers high-quality hobs for outdoor use.
How much power does an induction hob use?
An induction hob in an outdoor kitchen consumes an average of between 1.4 and 2.2 kWh per hour. With an average daily use of 30 minutes, this means a consumption of 0.9 kWh per day.
What is high heat induction?
High heat on an induction is considered the highest settings. Always keep a close eye on your meat or other ingredients on the induction plate when cooking on the highest setting.
Can induction cooktops be plugged into a standard power outlet?
For some options yes, for others no. Indu+ Wok and Indu+ Multiflex operate on 1 phase / 230V, for which a standard outdoor socket is sufficient. For the Teppanyaki 58cm and Pitt Cooking 2-Burner/3-Burner, you need a 1-3 phase connection; a regular power outlet is not enough. If you are unsure which option suits your garden, we would be happy to advise you on this personally.
Can I combine induction with other cooking options?
Certainly. Many Roostr owners combine induction with a kamado (for slow cooking on weekends) or a gas barbecue (for classic grilling). The modular system makes this easy, even for later additions.
How much power does an induction cooktop use?
An induction hob consumes, on average, between 1.4 and 2.2 kWh per hour. With daily use of 30 minutes, this means approximately 0.9 kWh per day – comparable to or more energy-efficient than a traditional electric hob, because only the pan is heated.
Is induction safe for children and guests?
Induction is one of the safest cooking methods. The cooktop itself barely gets hot; only the pan does. If you remove the pan, the surface is safe to touch again within seconds. No open flames, no gas, no flying sparks.
Will my existing cookware work on induction?
Only pans with a magnetic base (stainless steel, cast iron, enameled) work on induction. Aluminum, copper, or glass do not work. Test it simply: does a kitchen magnet stick to the bottom of the pan? Then it works. If in doubt, we offer personal advice.
How much does a Roostr outdoor kitchen with induction cost?
This depends on the chosen Roostr model, the induction option, and any additional modules. A Rubix Duo with Indu+ Multiflex starts from approximately €6,000–€8,000. A complete Allure with Pitt Cooking 3-Burners and a refrigerator often costs between €15,000–€20,000. For a precise quote based on your situation, request a free 3D drawing.
