This year we are celebrating a special milestone. Roostr is 5 years old.
Five years of learning, developing, making people happy, moving, designing, testing, cooking outdoors, collaborating, dreaming, building, and growing.
They were years full of moments to be proud of, but also years in which we made discoveries, through trial and error. And that is precisely what makes this milestone so valuable.
How it started and how it is going
It started with Liam, the founder of Roostr.
Someone with a love for outdoor cooking, a passion for BBQ, and preferably surrounded by family and friends. Not just preparing food, but creating an evening. A moment together. And yet, he noticed that the fun was sometimes lost simply because there wasn't enough space. Too little work surface. No place to put things down. No logical layout.
Why wasn't there an outdoor kitchen that was both practical and beautiful? Something that not only works, but can truly withstand outdoor life? That idea wouldn't leave him alone.
In 2020, Roostr was officially born.

The Roostr Rubix became the first design. A kitchen that created space instead of taking up space. Made of high-quality stainless steel and finished with a durable powder coating that can withstand all seasons. A kitchen you don't have to move indoors as soon as the weather changes. And not something that needs to be replaced after a season. But something that is sustainable.
Customers appreciate the design, the quality, and the story. And it didn't stop at just one model. The Allure followed, in which luxury, tranquility, and design come together.
Next came the Wave, with softer lines and a friendly appearance.
Each and every one of these outdoor kitchens is not only functional but also a place where you love to be.

From the attic room to a studio with space to dream.
From solo entrepreneurship to a driven team that complements each other.
In 2023, we grew with Jaimy, who gave Roostr an external face. Not long after, Jip also joined in sales and marketing, making the brand even more personal and human. We were present at beautiful events, we expanded our collection, and we saw people truly enjoy their outdoor spaces because we got to add something to them.
The first contact with Ben Walker in the UK. A conversation that began with shared passion and ended in a Roostr Studio in the United Kingdom. The type of growth that means something not only professionally, but also personally.
By now, we have had the pleasure of making many people in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe happy with a Roostr outdoor kitchen.

Valuable collaborations
Over the years, we have started working with dealers who share the same love for quality and outdoor living. Some were already with us when everything was still new and unfamiliar. Others joined later and immediately felt like an extension of who we are.
We regularly collaborate with landscapers and garden architects.
Together, we create gardens that make sense. Spaces that invite people to live outdoors. We enjoy joining forces with other partners who share the same goal. Only in this way do projects come into being that we are truly proud of.
For us, cooking outdoors is more than a meal. It is a moment to be together. And that is exactly what drives us.
International expansion
As more and more people discovered what outdoor cooking can do for the sense of home, Roostr grew along with them. Our kitchens can now be found not only in Dutch gardens, but also in gardens across the border. In Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom, evenings are celebrated, stories are shared, and pizzas are baked on a Roostr kitchen.
And what is remarkable is that the same reaction is heard everywhere. It is not about the kitchen itself. It is about what the outdoor kitchen makes possible.
Being together. Peace. Living outdoors.

Why we do what we do
We build outdoor kitchens, but actually we do much more than that.
We create moments of peace, fun, and connection. We create places where conversations arise that you will remember for years to come. Moments where you are outdoors together, enjoy a delicious meal, and briefly escape the hustle and bustle of the day.
It is a long-term investment, not for one season, but for years of living and enjoyment. For it is precisely outdoors, at a table or around the pizza oven, that the conversations that stick with you begin. The moments that count.
We love seeing people rediscover their garden and home and realize that this is the place where they love being most. And the best part? When we receive messages and photos of the first homemade pizza, children who can't wait to help cook, and evenings that last just a little longer because no one wants to go inside. That is what we do it for. 
Future vision
In the coming years, we want to continue growing within Europe, with plans for countries such as Spain, France, and Italy. We continue to listen to users, continue to design, continue to test, and continue to refine.
In addition, we want to collaborate even more closely with landscape architects and dealers to create outdoor spaces together that are perfect down to the last detail.
We continue to look at where we can improve and where we can make a difference.
And above all: we keep doing what we do out of love for outdoor life.
